Inboard aluminium spinnaker pole fitting for Seldén pole sections ø96 and ø99, Trip-Trigger and fasteners included

A female bayonet inboard end compatible with Seldén bayonet peak spinnaker pole cars. Push it on to the peak and a spring loaded release trigger will engage the pole to the car. When a pole is stored vertically by the means of a Vertical Pole Stowage system (VPS), we recommend that the release trigger is secured in locked position by tightening a Nylon screw inserted in the trigger. 

A sheave at the lower part of the fitting is used for a Trip-trigger release line and a sheave on the top is for a rubber cord retraction of the spinnaker pole lift. When the pole is in stand-by position on the foredeck and you want the lift engaged but yet out of the way, a tensioned rubber cord will pull it aft and down. The lift has to be fed through a stainless ring at the end of the rubber cord. 

Note - if the pole in stand-by position is blocking the forepeak hatch, remove the Nylon screw in the release trigger to enable instant disconnection of the pole in case of emergency.
