Low friction hoisting and dousing of your mainsail

The RCB system offers a radical solution to the problems with jamming sliders in an old mast. Basically, you fit a 22 mm wide track on your mast and cars with Torlon ball bearings eliminate all that unnecessary friction you are so fed up with. The RCB track, which comes complete with screws and special slugs for the sail groove, is easy to fit on a Seldén E- or D-section. Just push the track into the original mast groove and tighten up. The attachment system is tailored to Seldén masts, but it will also fit those with a similar luff gap (approx. 6 mm or 1/4″).

Other masts can be fitted with the track by screwing it directly in place.
