It features a stainless steel tack ring with Torlon® ball bearings to ensure smooth rotation even under high load. A Dyneema lashing is provided for attaching the tack of the sail to the Tack Swivel.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTop-down furling explained:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe sail is connected only at two points: the halyard swivel at the top and the Tack Swivel at the bottom. As the sail is freeflying between these points, it cannot be furled like a tradititonal sail. Instead, the AT-cable transfers the furling motion from the top, starting to furl the head of the sail first.
